HB Body P981 1K Epoxy Primer is a fast-drying single-component epoxy primer designed to provide excellent adhesion and corrosion protection on metal substrates.

Mixing & Application

• Mix with approximately 50% reducer
• Spray viscosity: 25 – 32 sec DIN 4 at 20°C
• Recommended nozzle size: 1.3 – 1.5 mm
• Apply 2 coats (60 – 80 μm total film thickness)
• Flash-off time between coats: 5 – 10 minutes at 23°C

Drying

• Air dry: 45 – 60 minutes at 23°C
• Force dry: 10 – 20 minutes at 60°C
• Sanding: P400 – P500 dry or P800 – P1000 wet
